Smart Space: transforming experience into knowledge
The digital exhibition space to narrate art, culture and landscape
The Smart Space, located on the ground floor of the Cassa di Risparmio di Gorizia Foundation’s office, is the headquarter of the whole CariGO GREEN Project, with the main purpose to valorize the cultural heritage of the landscape of Gorizia.
Such exhibition space is a place where it’s possible to “open virtual windows” on real worlds, using immersive technology to learn and deepen the historical, scientific and cultural side of our territory, transforming experience into knowledge.
Sustainability
Sustainability was fundamental while designing the Smart Space: in fact, there is no need to divest each exhibition, since they become part of a wider digital archive, making each exhibition always accessible for visits.
The Smart Space is divided into different areas, where digital experiences meet a more “traditional” set-up, in a perfect match between “virtuality” and “reality”.
“Virtual World” Area
16 Virtual Reality headsets let visitors roam through a wide choice of constantly updated VR contents.
“Touch Screen” Area
This area gives visitors the chance to deepen each topic through different interactive applications.
“Immersive Experience” Area
an innovative projection mapping experience welcomes visitors, with both visual and sound effects of great emotional impact.
